My first memory was mom telling me to sit in our rocking chair so she could take a picture of me. I was not yet two years old and surprised I can remember that far back.
We were living out of state when I had my sixth birthday. It was extra special because my maternal grandmother, Momo Louise, was there for my birthday.
As a young child, I felt important if I got to wash the dishes. Of course as I got older, I didn’t feel the same way.
